The “Human Security through Socio-Economic Development in Upper Egypt” (HAYAT) Project is a joint United Nations endeavor carried out by UNIDO, ILO, IOM, UN Women and UN Habitat in Minya Governorate in close cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Local Development.
